Australia’s Scott Boland expressed his enthusiasm for playing in the ICC World Test Championship Final, saying it was a great experience for him. Early in the game, Scott Boland managed to get rid of Indian sensation Shubman Gill, and he expressed his joy at getting the crucial wicket. After day two of play, he expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance in the context of the overall match situation. He emphasized the pitch’s unpredictable nature and uneven bounce, which might cause difficulties for the Indian batting lineup in the coming days.

India find themselves trailing by 318 runs in the ICC World Test Championship Final after two days of arduous play as they stand at 151 runs for the loss of five wickets. Australia had earlier piled up a dominant total of 469 runs, highlighting their class in the ultimate clash.

In the same vein, Australian quick Boland expressed his anticipation and nervousness before the Test commenced. Moreover, he pointed out the significance of Shubman Gill’s early dismissal, who is one of India’s finest batters. While acknowledging how much impact it could have on the outcome of the battle, the Australian pacer voiced his joy at grabbing Gill out early.

We are in a very good spot now: Boland

“Really exciting, pretty nervous before the start of this Test but nice to get into this game. He’s (Gill) a very good player, nice to knock him over early. We are in a very good spot now. We are strong after 2 days; the pitch is a bit up and down and hopefully, it will be harder for India to bat tomorrow. It (the uneven bounce) felt like that in the middle, a couple of balls taking off, a couple keeping low,” Boland told on ICC.

After a shaky start, India were still able to get to 151 runs after losing five wickets. Australia, however, find themselves in an advantageous spot heading into the remaining days of the match owing to their dominating score of 469 runs.
