Reflecting on the ordeal, Khan articulated the dual jeopardy faced by athletes in such situations, highlighting the profound impact of injuries on their careers and personal lives.

“I have youngsters in my team as well. I hoped he wasn’t injured badly. And a sportsman getting injured, it’s a double jeopardy. Worse than that, us getting injured. I wish him all the best. I hope his knee gets fully recovered soon. In the last game, when I met him, I was telling him don’t get up, it must be hurting,” Khan remarked, echoing the shared sentiment of vulnerability in the realm of sports.

Despite the adversity, Pant’s remarkable resilience shone through as he made a remarkable comeback, showcasing exceptional form in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Khan’s admiration for Pant’s determination was palpable as he recounted their recent encounter, expressing joy at witnessing Pant’s return to form.
