Jonny Bairstow is the pioneer of England’s new day

Bairstow seems to be batting in a new style in the new beginning of England.

Former captain and popular commentator Nasser Hussain called the innings of Bairstow in his home ground Headingley one of the best among English batsmen. He said, “Headingley is the home ground of Bairstow. Hundreds in this field would have been special for him. It would have been great to beat England on this field. His innings are one of the greatest innings I have ever seen. Bairstow is the best batsman in English cricket. He captures the rhythm of “Baz-ball” (Brendon McCullum). He had a lot of positivity.”

Bairstow has made a great start in the year 2022. Despite losing the Ashes, the wicketkeeper-batsman was brilliant with his own willow. Played a century-run innings.
