In the grand finale of BPL, James’ concert accompanied by a beam show

The final of BPL has come very close. The final of the ninth season of BPL will be held at the Sher-e Bangla Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on February 16. And there is a great surprise in this final match. There will be James’s concert before the match and the beam show after the match. All in all, the curtain of the current season of BPL is going to come down with great splendor. The tension between the cricket fans about the final of BPL is now high.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has informed us that the famous bands of Bangladesh Nagarbaul and Wharfez are going to perform at the closing ceremony of BPL. On Monday, BCB Chief Executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan confirmed the matter while facing the media. He said, “We are trying to get James for this final match. We will also bring Wharfez and Maqsood Bhai. They are being contacted initially. We hope they will perform in the closing ceremony”. In the previous editions of BPL, foreign artists were seen in the opening ceremony and closing ceremonies, but this time Bangladesh Cricket Board is trusting local artists.

The chief executive of BCB was also asked whether someone from outside will be brought along with the artists of the country. In this regard, he said, “Actually, bringing in someone from outside will be a challenging matter at this point. Most likely there will be no one from outside. Especially, in the current context, it does not seem to be an option for us. We are trying to bring only renowned music artists from the country. In fact, we want all our popular music artists to perform here.”

Meanwhile, there is also a beam show to enhance the beauty of BPL. In this context, Sujan also said, “There will be fireworks in this year’s BPL. Along with that, there will be a beam show. The concert will start at 3:30 PM. The final match will be held at 6:30 PM. So the concert will end before the match starts. And after the match, the award ceremony will be held. And then there will be the beam show.” However, BCB has increased the ticket price for the final match.

It should be noted that Comilla Victorians, the maximum three-time champion in BPL, confirmed the final in this season of BPL. They beat Sylhet Strikers by 4 wickets in the first qualifier and reached the final first. Meanwhile, Mashrafe’s Sylhet reached the final as the second team after defeating Rangpur in the second qualifier match on Tuesday night. So Comilla – Sylhet are facing each other again in the final on the 16th. Both the captains of the teams have expressed hope of winning the final and cricket fans are expecting a thrilling final.
