Rishabh Pant and Rabindra Jadeja took the helm when India lost 5 wickets for 98 runs. The two players completely ruined the joy of the English bowlers. The two were separated after the partnership of 222 runs.

Meanwhile, Pant batted in ODI style and completed the fifth century of his career. After scoring a century off 89 balls, he was dismissed for 146 off 111 balls. Rabindra Jadeja remained unbeaten with 83 runs.

Jadeja also completed his century by batting on the second day. He completed his third Test century of his career and was dismissed for 104 runs. Jadeja returned to the dressing room after being bowled by Anderson.

Mohammad Shami was dismissed for 16 runs. At the last moment, Jasprit Bumrah set a world record.

Stuart Broad returned Mohammad Shami in the 4th ball of the 80th over. After that Bumrah came down to bat. Bumrah could not make a single run off first 7 balls before the start of the 84th over. At that time India’s run was 377 for 9 wickets. At the end of the 84th over, their run was 412.

India’s innings ended after Mohammad Siraj was dismissed by Anderson. Where they lost 5 wickets for 98 runs, in the end India’s collection stood at 416 runs.

English pacer James Anderson is still showing the magic of old bones. He took 5 wickets alone with 60 runs. Matthew Potts took 2 wickets and Stuart Broad, Ben Stokes and Joe Root took 1 wicket each.

The English can’t take advantage of anything by batting in the first innings. After playing 27 overs, they lost 5 wickets for 84 runs.

Alex Lees made 6 runs off 9 balls. Jack made 9 runs off 17 balls. Ollie Pope made 10 off 18 balls. Joe Root showed hope but returned to the dressing room after scoring 31 off 67 balls. Bairstow made 12 runs off 47 balls and remained unbeaten. Jack Leach made zero runs.

For India, Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets for 35 runs in 11 overs. Besides, Shami and Siraj got 1 wicket each.
