Dhoni to return in CSK colours for 2026 IPL
Dhoni and Chennai Super Kings are set to reunite once again for the 2026 IPL season. The seasoned campaigner will be competing in his 19th season in the showpiece tournament, having been part of it since the very beginning. The five-time IPL-winning captain has already started his preparations for the big tournament, having had his first training session a few days ago.
There are, however, question marks surrounding his availability for the Chennai-based side this season, with reports suggesting that Dhoni will not be playing in all 14 games.

Dhoni has had an incredible IPL career, having captained CSK to five titles, with the most recent coming in 2023, where they beat Gujarat Titans in the final.
