IPL 2026: Video of the Day: Virat Kohli plans Priyansh Arya’s dismissal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar executes to perfection

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) dismissed the dangerous Priyansh Arya in the first over after setting up a huge target of 223 runs against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Sunday, May 17, at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.

Virat Kohli, after playing a superb knock of 58 runs off 37 balls, was seen gesturing to Bhuvneshwar Kumar to bowl force Priyansh to play the pull shot. The former India captain could have identified a weakness in the southpaw’s batting, but he needed Bhuvneshwar to back him up.

The veteran Indian seamer bowled the third ball of the first over on a back of a length and outside off. Priyansh went for the pull but got the toe-end of the bat and hit it straight down the throat of Romario  Shepherd at mid-on.

This was a big breakthrough for the visitors as Priyansh can cause a lot of damage once he gets himself set at the crease.
