IPL 2026: DC vs CSK, Match 48 – Top player battles to watch out for

Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings are set to face each other in match No. 48 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday, May 5.

1. Sanju Samson vs Mitchell Starc

Sanju Samson has scored 315 runs in nine innings at an average of 45 and a strike rate of 167.56. He hasn’t been very consistent, but when he plays well, he almost certainly takes his team to victory. Samson’s wicket will be key for the Capitals.

Mitchell Starc is expected to play an important role with the new ball for the Capitals. He made his comeback in the last game and picked up three wickets. Starc’s battle with Samson inside the power play will be intriguing to watch.
