Hardik Pandya, the captain, fought valiantly with 46 runs off 24 deliveries but succumbed to Rasikh Salam’s bowling. Towards the end, Tim David contributed 37 but Mumbai Indians ultimately fell short of the target, finishing with 247 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Rasikh Salam and Mukesh Kumar proved instrumental in restricting Mumbai’s chase, claiming vital wickets at crucial junctures, securing a hard-fought victory for the Delhi Capitals.
