In the 58th match of IPL 2024 held at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala, Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Punjab Kings by sixty runs.

Asking to bat first, the Challengers started the innings with a bang, Virat Kohli’s 92(47) magnificent innings helped the Challengers to post a huge total. Rajat Patidar 55(23) played a superb blistering knock and gave excellent support to Virat Kohli. In the end, Cameron Green 46(27) and Dinesh Karthik 18(7) played fantastic finishing innings which helped Challengers to post a massive total of 241. Speaking about the bowling of the Kings Harshal Patel (4-0-38-3) and Vidhwath Kaverappa (4-0-36-2) bowled superbly but all other bowlers were expensive.

In response, Rilee Rossouw 61(27) who started to smash from the first ball in the powerplay played superbly. Shashank Singh 37(19) was looking fantastic and unfortunately, he got a runout and Kings lost him at the wrong time. But these two didn’t get support from other batters. Speaking of the bowling of Challenges, Swapnil Singh (3-0-28-2) bowled beautifully, which helped Challengers to win the game by a 60-run margin. Lockie Ferguson (3-0-29-2) who bowled superbly gave excellent support to the Swapnil.
