These two teams’ last meeting was in match 6 of the IPL 2024 at Bengaluru, where the Kings posted a score of 176 courtesy of Shikhar Dhawan 45(37) who played superbly. But it was a fantastic bowling effort from the Challengers to restrict Kings only to 176 in Chinnaswamy courtesy of fantastic spells from Yash Dayal (4-0-23-1) and Mohammed Siraj (4-0-26-2).

In Response, Virat Kohli 77(49) played a fantastic knock, which helped them to cross over the victory line. Along with him, Dinesh Karthik 28*(10) played a magnificent finishing innings which helped RCB to finish the match without any panic. Thus, the Kings would like to take revenge for the previous encounter between these two held in M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru earlier.

HPCA Stadium Pitch Report:

The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala has produced batting-friendly tracks where batters dominated. The average score of the venue is 179 in IPL history with the pitch remaining fairly the same across both innings. The batters have been able to maximize the short dimensions of the ground to score a mountain of runs. Whereas the bowling has struggled to contain runs and pick up wickets. But pacers, especially with new ball, can find some swing and take wickets in the powerplay.

Player Battles to Watch Out For:

Jonny Bairstow vs Mohammed Siraj:

In the three innings that these two have come across each other, Bairstow has scored 54 runs in just 25 balls against Siraj. He has also been dismissed once in this period. This matchup will play a crucial role in the powerplay and key matchup in this game.
