IPL 2023 Final: Team India players follow summit clash between CSK and GT from London

Few players of the Indian cricket team present in London, were seen following the crucial IPL Final between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT), played at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday, May 29.

Certain members of the Indian contingent, who are part of the setup for the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-23 Final, have already joined the camp at London in England. Interestingly, Axar Patel, Umesh Yadav, Jaydev Unadkat, and Mohammed Siraj among others were seen following the high-voltage clash between CSK and GT, following their training session in London.

The BCCI took to its official social media handle to share few pictures of the players and the management watching the IPL final during their bus travel following a practice session.

WTC Final to begin on June 7

For the unversed, the eagerly-anticipated WTC Final between India and Australia is slated to commence on June 7 at the Oval in London. It is worth mentioning that team India will play their second final as they lost to New Zealand in the previous summit clash during the 2019-21 edition.

Billed as the ultimate Test, the two heavyweight sides will lock horns in a One-off game with a reserve day on June 12, so as to make up for any loss of play on the stipulated five days. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and Ravichandran among others have begun preparations in full swing for the summit clash in London.

Shubman Gill, Mohammad Shami, Ravindra Jadeja will join the camp following the conclusion of the IPL final. The side will aim to come all guns blazing and look to lift the coveted mace in their second consecutive appearance in the finals.
