Deepak Chahar’s father Lokendra Singh Chahar suffers brain stroke, admitted to a hospital in Aligarh

India all-rounder Deepak Chahar’s father Lokendra Singh Chahar suffered a brain stroke and has been admitted to Mithraj Hospital in Aligarh. Notably, Chahar didn’t play the fifth T20I of the series against Australia on Sunday, December 03 in Bengaluru as captain Suryakumar Yadav revealed that he had flown back home due to a family emergency.

According to reports, Lokendra had visited Aligarh to attend a wedding function where he suffered the stroke. The report further states that Deepak Chahar got to know about his father’s ill health on December 02 and immediately flew from Bengaluru to Delhi and travelled via road to Aligarh.

A report in Dainik Jagran states that there hasn’t been much improvement in Lokendra’s health and the family to planning to shift him to Delhi or Agra. Notably, Chahar’s father is a diabetic patient and also suffers from hypertension. His condition is currently critical and is undergoing treatment in the ICU.
