ICC Womens T20 World Cup, 2024: यूएई में जारी महिला टी20 वर्ल्ड कप अब अपने अंतिम पड़ाव पर पहुंच चुका है। टूर्नामेंट को अपनी चार फाइनलिस्ट टीमें मिल गई है। तो वहीं 15 अक्टूबर को दुबई इंटनेशनल क्रिकेट स्टेडियम में खेले गए 20वें मैच में, वेस्टइंडीज ने इंग्लैंड की महिला टीमों को 6 विकेट से हराकर, टूर्नामेंट से नाॅकआउट कर दिया है और सेमीफाइनल का टिकट कटा लिया।

वेस्टइंडीज क्रिकेट टीम की इस जीत पर, फैंस सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से जमकर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए नजर आ रहे हैं। मुकाबले में वेस्टइंडीज के लिए टाॅप ऑर्डर में 52 रनों की अर्धशतकीय पारी खेलने के लिए Qiana Joseph को प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच के खिताब से नवाजा गया।

मैच के बारे में विस्तार से बताएं तो वेस्टइंडीज की महिला टीम ने टाॅस जीतकर गेंदबाजी करने का फैसला किया। पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए इंग्लैंड ने 20 ओवरों में 7 विकेट के नुकसान पर 141 रन बनाए। इंग्लैंड के लिए नट सीवर ब्रंट ने 57 रनों की नाबाद पारी खेली, तो कप्तान हीतर नाइट ने 21 रनों का योगदान दिया।

इसके बाद, जब वेस्टइंडीज इंग्लैंड से मिले 142 रनों के टारगेट का पीछा करने उतरी, तो उसने इस टारगेट को 18 ओवर में 4 विकेट खोकर आसानी से हासिल कर लिया। वेस्टइंडीज के लिए सलामी बल्लेबाज हेली मैथ्यूज (50) और कायन जोसेफ (52) ने पहले विकेट के लिए 102 रनों की साझेदारी कर टीम को मजबूत शुरुआत दी। इसके अलावा डिएंड्रा दाॅतीन ने 27 रनों की पारी खेली।
