WCL 2025: Top 3 player battles to watch out for in PAK vs SA

1. AB de Villiers (South Africa Champions) vs Wahab Riaz (Pakistan Champions):

AB de Villiers faced Wahab Riaz in 11 innings and scored 130 runs at a strike rate of 100.77. Wahab failed to dismiss de Villiers when both the players were active at international level. de Villiers faced Riaz in 2018 in the Mzansi Super League and scored eight runs off Riaz’s six deliveries in the match.

2. Shoaib Malik (Pakistan Champions) vs Wayne Parnell (South Africa Champions):

Shoaib Malik and Wayne Parnell faced each other on three occasions in T20Is. Malik scored 11 runs off 12 deliveries from Parnell and he is yet to be dismissed by him.

3. Sohail Khan (Pakistan Champions) vs Hashim Amla (South Africa Champions):

Hashim Amla and Sohail Khan came against each other in one ODI and two T20I games. In ODIs, Amla faced 10 deliveries from Sohail and scored 16 runs. In two T20I games, Hashim scored 17 runs at a strike rate of 170 against Sohail.
