WCL 2025: Predicting South Africa XI for match 6

South Africa Champions will be up against the India Champions in the sixth match of the World Championship of Legends 2025 on Tuesday, July 22, at the County Ground in Northampton. It will be the second game of the season in Northampton. South Africa faced the West Indies Champions in their first game which swas reduced to 11 overs due to rain. West Indies scored 79 runs for the loss of five wickets as South Africa got a target of 81 runs. The match ended in a draw, and the result was decided with a bowl-out.

Top Order:

Richard Levi

Richard Levi came in as an impact player for South Africa in the first game in place of Duanne Olivier. South Africa are likely to continue with the opening pair of Levi and Hashim Amla. AB de Villiers is likely to play in the third place.

Middle Order:

Sarel Erwee

Sarel Erwee, Jean-Paul Duminy, and JJ Smuts are likely to be there in the middle order. Erwee was one of the two players who scored a century last year and scored 27 runs off 18 deliveries in the first game. Duminy won the Player of the Match award in the first game for his quick knock of 25 runs off 12 deliveries whule Smuts played a crucial role with the bowl and took the wicket of Lendl Simmons, who was the highest scorer for the West Indies.

Lower Middle Order:

Morne van Wyk, Wayne Parnell, and Chris Morris might make the lower middle order for the team. van Wyk will look after the role behind the wicket. Parnell and Morris can also contribute with the ball.
