In the same game, he scored 54 runs off 28 balls and helped MI reach the 215-run target. Suryakumar Kumar was wearing Orange Cap but Virat knock in the night game took it away. He now sits in second place with 427 runs. 

2. AB de Villiers

When it comes to T20 cricket, AB de Villiers is regarded as the “GOAT.” He began his career with the Delhi Daredevils (now the Delhi Capitals) in 2008. Later he joined RCB where he shined due to his batting style. AB de Villiers was part of many high-scoring matches. He scripted history by becoming the second-fastest player in IPL by reaching the 4000-run mark from 2658 balls. He participated in 184 cricket matches and scored more than 5162 runs before retiring.

3. Chris Gayle

Chris Gayle is among few batters who are more dangerous in T20 cricket. It took Gayle only 2658 balls to reach this milestone as well. During his playing days, Gayle used to attack from the start of the innings, and it was a difficult task to get him out. His unbeaten knock of 175 runs against Pune Warriors India is still in the minds of cricketing fans.
