This was one of the most iconic matches in the history of the T20 World Cup back in 2022, featuring arch-rivals India and Pakistan. Rohit Sharma and Co. were reduced to 36/4, and India had almost zero chance of winning the game. However, India’s batting master Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 82 runs from 53 balls, featuring six fours and four sixes, and pulled the game back to help his side win the game by four wickets. The star batter forged a formidable 113-run stand with Hardik Pandya, steering the game into the later stages.

This match is known as one of the most thrilling matches in T20 World Cup history. Notably, India and Pakistan again met in the final game after their group stage match ended in a tie and bowl-out. The game was another thriller. India’s star cricketers, Gautam Gambhir and Rohit Sharma, scored 75 and 30 runs, respectively, to help India post 157 runs. However, during the chase, India’s pacers took regular wickets, but Misbah-ul-Haq kept Pakistan in the dominant spot. However, his six off the second ball of the last over brought it down to six needed from four balls. However, India needed one wicket, and Joginder Sharma helped India become the inaugural champions of the T20 World Cup.

This was one of the great matches in T20 World Cup history, as “Carlos Brathwaite, remember the name!” commentator Ian Bishop said as Carlos went 6,6,6,6 off English all-rounder Ben Stokes to win his second T20 World Cup trophy in host country India. The West Indies defeated India in the semi-final game to make their way to the final; however, Ben Stokes was the subject of criticism after the T20 World Cup 2016.
