SRH’s top 3 batting performances in IPL history

It was truly stunning to see that SRH has bettered their record and rewritten history, as they posted the highest total in IPL history in the clash against RCB on Monday. Notably, the SRH team once again showed dazzling performances and created history.

1. 287/3 vs. RCB, Bengaluru, 2024

Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a massive total of 287/3 in the given 20 overs during the 30th game of IPL 2024. Notably, Travis Head was the star of the game as the opening batter went on to hammer in 102 runs from just 41 balls, hitting nine fours and eight sixes with a solid strike rate of 249 to help his side stand in the dominant position. However, following him, Henrich Klaasen also hammered 67 runs from 31 balls, while Aiden Markram and Abdul Samad were unbeaten with 32 and 37 runs from 17 and 10 balls, respectively, to post the highest total in IPL history.

2. 277/3 vs. MI, Hyderabad, 2024

SRH had posted 277/3 in the given 20 overs during the eighth game of IPL 2024. Notably, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma played a wonderful knock of 62 and 63 runs, respectively, which gave them an amazing start to the game. However, Heinrich Klaasen was the star of the game, who had made 80 runs from 34 balls with an impressive strike rate of 236 to help his side post the great total against the five-time champion Mumbai Indians.

3. 231/2 vs RCB, Hyderabad, 2019

Sunrisers Hyderabad posted 231/2 against RCB in IPL 2019. Speaking about the game here, it was star batter Jonny Bairstow who made 114 runs from 56 balls, featuring 12 fours and seven sixes with a great strike rate of 204 and stitched the great stand with David Warner. The left-handed batter also hammered 100 runs from just 55 balls, featuring five fours and five sixes with a dazzling strike rate of 182 to help his side post the great total. However, during the chase, RCB was all out for just 113 runs, and SRH went on to win the game by 118 runs.
