Australia’s former pace sensation Shaun Tait was named Player of the Match in the only T20I between Australia and Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on February 5, 2010. Notably, the star cricketer bowled a terrifying over that averaged 156.4 km/h and included one ball that was recorded at 160.7 km/h. Moreover, the right-arm pacer took three wickets for 13 runs in his four overs, helping Australia defend a low total of 127 and win by two runs.

Australia chased down the target with one ball to spare and won by two wickets. Shaun Tait was the joint-highest wicket-taker in the match, along with Mohammad Aamer.

Shaun Tait took 3/21 in the 15th match, Group F of the World Twenty20 2010 between Australia and India, at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, on May 7, 2010. Notably, the star bowler dismissed Murali Vijay, Suresh Raina, and Ashish Nehra in his 3.4 overs, helping Australia bowl out India for 135 in 17.4 overs. Australia had scored 184/5 in 20 overs, thanks to a blistering knock of 72 (42) by David Warner, who was the Player of the Match. Australia won by a huge margin of 49 runs and qualified for the semi-finals.
