Throughout the season, Phil Salt has given the team a good start with his attacking style of batting. In 13 games, the stylish England batter scored 403 runs with an average of 33.58.

Phil Salt scored 56 runs to help Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) win the first match of the 2025 Indian Premier League. With Virat Kohli’s help, Phil Salt’s knock helped RCB get off to a strong start as they chased a target of 174 runs. He hit two sixes and nine fours in his 56-run innings. With a 95-run partnership for the first wicket, Virat Kohli and Phil Salt gave the squad a boost.

2. 65 runs off 33 balls vs Rajasthan Royals:

The run chase led to RCB’s victory thanks to Phil Salt’s 65 runs off 33 balls. He hit six sixes and five fours in his 65 runs. With the help of Phil Salt, RCB easily chased down the target of 173 runs set by RR. In addition, he was named the innings’ Man of the Match. 

3. 56* runs off 27 balls vs Punjab Kings:

During Qualifier 1 of IPL 2025, in a low-scoring game, Phil Salt did the half-work for RCB in chasing the target of 101 runs. Phil Salt helped RCB win the game by eight wickets with his 56 runs and no outs. He hit three sixes and six fours over his innings.
