
Afghanistan’s remarkable 6-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the second Test match at Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Sunday tied the series 1-1, with Rashid Khan’s career-best 7-wicket haul surpassing Sean Williams’ valiant 151-run effort. It was regrettable that Tripano missed his century by five runs. In reply to the target set by Zimbabwe Rahmat Shah scored 58 runs which helped Afghanistan to win the test match by six wickets. However winning the test marked Afghanistan leveled the two match Test series. Sean Williams’ performance helped him to win the Man of the Match award in the second test match. Rashid Khan bowled 99.2 overs against Zimbabwe in the second Test, taking 11 wickets, including a seven-wicket haul. Smacking Shahidi the first Afghan batsman to reach 200 in a Test.
