At one stage in the season, the Capitals were the odds-on favourite to not only make it to the playoffs but also were branded as one of the top sides likely to win the title. Delhi will want to end the season on a high with a win over PBKS.

3. KL Rahul vs Arshdeep Singh

Arshdeep Singh has been the best T20 bowler for India in the last few years. KL Rahul has been one of the best batters for Delhi Capitals this season. With Rahul now opening the innings for DC, his battle against Arshdeep Singh will be huge. The veteran Indian batter has been batting with aggressive intent this season. Arshdeep Singh has been known for his ability to swing the new ball. Singh’s ability to swing the ball away from the right-handed batters will make it an interesting battle against KL Rahul.

2. Shreyas Iyer vs Kuldeep Yadav 

PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer has always been a good player of spin during his career. Iyer, though, will be tested by left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who notched up his 100th wicket when he dismissed Ryan Rickelton on Wednesday night. Kuldeep Yadav has a plethora of tricks up his sleeve and can outfox the best batters in the business with his guile. Shreyas Iyer plays the conventional sweep as well as reverse sweeps, and also uses his feet well against the spinners.

Young wicketkeeper batter Prabhsimran Singh has been in the best form with the bat in the current season of IPL. Veteran pacer Mukesh Kumar will be tasked with the job of getting the wicket of Prabhsimran Singh early. The right-arm pacer hasn’t had a great season so far, but with Mitchell Starc absent and T Natarajan not able to find his feet, Mukesh Kumar will be the key bowler for DC in the game against Punjab.
