Punjab Kings had to beat Mumbai Indians in a bid to end the IPL 2025 league phase at the top spot in the points table. MI batted first and scored 184 on the board thanks to Suryakumar Yadav’s 57. Arshdeep Singh bowled four overs and picked up two wickets for 28 runs. His wicket, that day, included Suryakumar Yadav and Naman Dhir in the final over of the innings. If it hadn’t been for Arshdeep’s final over, MI would have scored a lot more runs as they looked good to score 200 at one stage. 

2. 3/43 vs Lucknow Super Giants 

In the game between PBKS and LSG, Arshdeep Singh began by getting the wicket of Mitchell Marsh for a golden duck. The left-arm seamer then got the wickets of Ayush Badoni for 41 and Abdul Samad for 27 as LSG scored 171 on the board. PBKS won the game by eight wickets as Prabhsimran Singh scored 69 and Shreyas Iyer was not out on 52. Arshdeep may have conceded over 40 runs and may have been expensive, but his two wickets at the end changed the course of the game in PBKS’ favour. 

1. 3/16 vs Lucknow Super Giants 

The best figures for Arshdeep Singh in the IPL 2025 season also came against LSG at the Dharamshala Stadium. PBKS had batted first and scored a massive 236 on the board with Prabhsimran Singh top scoring with 91. Shreyas Iyer’s 45 and Shashank Singh’s 15-ball 33 not out. In reply, LSG scored just 199 on the board as Arshdeep Singh did well with the ball to take 3 for 16 from his four overs. The seamer picked the wicket of Aiden Markram for 13 while also dismissing Mitchell Marsh for a duck and Nicholas Pooran for six runs. The early burst by the PBKS seamer ensured his team maintained their stranglehold over proceedings and won the game by 37 runs.
