3 players who can replace injured Josh Hazlewood in RCB for remainder of IPL 2025

Josh Hazlewood suffered a shoulder injury ahead of the game against CSK. Before getting injured, Hazlewood was a key pacer in the bowling unit of the team. He picked 18 wickets from ten matches and was a mainstream bowler.

Josh Hazlewood is likely to miss the rest of the IPL, as Australia will be playing the World Test Championship final against South Africa. 1. Adam Milne:

Adam Milne would be a good option for RCB if Josh Hazlewood opts out of the remaining matches.  Adam Milne played for RCB in the 2016–17 season despite not being a consistent IPL player.  Adam Milne took seven wickets from ten games.  Adam Milne last played IPL in 2022 and is in fresh form if he comes as a replacement.

2. Alzarri Joseph: 

In recent Alzarri Joseph’s performance has improved a lot, and he is one of the best pacers in T20 cricket. He played for RCB in 2024 and knows the setup. If he joins the team, he will take less time to settle in and help RCB lift the trophy for the first time. Last year, he played three games and picked 6 wickets for the team.

3. Michael Bracewell:

Michael Bracewell will be a great addition to the team setup if he comes in as a replacement for Josh Hazlewood. With his spin bowling, he can help Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma in the middle overs. He can also swing the bat around and get runs on the board.
