Harshal Patel

The experienced fast bowler from Haryana, Harshal Patel has been bought by Punjab Kings in the mini-auction for a whopping price of 11.75 crores. In the last few seasons, Patel was one of the most crucial bowlers for Royal Challengers Bangalore and he bowled considerably well at the Chinnaswamy Stadium which is not considered as a happy hunting ground for the bowlers. The clever fast bowler would be delighted at the fact that he will get to play the majority of his cricket outside Bengaluru and he can prove to be more lethal with his crafty bowling. 

Kagiso Rabada

Another fast bowler to look out for but this time a South African who bowls at an express speed. Kagiso Rabada is the undisputed leader of the attack for the Proteas and he can deliver similar results for Punjab as well. The last IPL season was not particularly rewarding for Kagiso Rabada as he could not play many matches. But he has been in great wicket-taking form in recent times and will be a threatening opponent to face on the cricket ground in the next IPL season. 

Prabhsimran Singh

The young expressive batter from Punjab, Prabhsimran Singh, showed glimpses of what he is capable of in the last season but the upcoming season will be a decisive campaign for him. In all probability, he will be entrusted with the top-order responsibilities and Prabhsimran will have to make these chances count. He played with an explosive strike rate of 150.42 in the last season and will be looking to play with the same freedom in the next season as well.
