The 55th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. Both sides head into the game on the back of their losses in their last encounters. Delhi Capitals lost at home to Kolkata Knight Riders, while Sunrisers Hyderabad were soundly beaten by Gujarat Titans by 38 runs.
The pressure is mounting on the 2016 IPL champions as they have only four games left to play. Hyderabad has to win all four games with huge margins and hope other results go their way. One positive for SRH is that each of their final four games is against other playoff hopefuls.
For Delhi Capitals, the objective is clear: win on Monday will ensure that they reach the top four once again. When the season started, Delhi Capitals were the team to beat, having won four games on the trot. After the loss to Mumbai Indians at home, Axar Patel’s side have become inconsistent.

Here are the three milestones that can be achieved in the SRH vs DC IPL 2025 game:
Kuldeep Yadav one away from century of IPL wickets

Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav just needs one wicket to achieve his 100th wicket in the IPL. Kuldeep will become the 28th bowler to reach the landmark. Yadav also needs four wickets to go past Zaheer Khan, who had 102 wickets in his IPL career. Kuldeep has so far played 94 games and picked 99 wickets with a best of 4/14. The left-arm wrist spinner made his IPL debut for Kolkata Knight Riders against Mumbai Indians in the 2016 season and got the wicket of Mitchel McClenaghan. Since then, Kuldeep Yadav has become one of the standout bowlers in the league and is a huge player for Delhi Capitals.
Harshal Patel close to massive landmark

Veteran seamer Harshal Patel needs two wickets to reach the 150 mark and will become the 13th bowler to achieve this feat. Patel has played 115 games so far and picked 148 wickets with a best of 5/27 that came in the 2021 season during his time with Royal Challengers Bengaluru. If Patel picks three wickets, he will go past former Indian spin legend Harbhajan Singh, who ended his career with 150 IPL wickets. So far this year, Patel has picked 13 wickets with a best of 4/28 that came against Chennai Super Kings.
KL Rahul about to register huge personal milestone

The stylish right-handed batter, KL Rahul, just needs 43 runs to achieve the 8000-run milestone in T20 cricket. The 33-year-old has so far played 235 games, scoring 7957 runs with a best of 132 not out, which is one of the six centuries he has scored so far. Rahul has also hit 68 T20 fifties and has an average of 42 and a strike rate of 136. Interestingly, out of those 7957 runs, 5054 runs have come from the IPL.
