Sourav Ganguly opens up after losing the responsibility of the board

Sourav Ganguly is now the talk of the country in Indian cricket. Sourav will not be the president of the Indian Cricket Board for the second time. India’s World Cup-winning cricketer Roger Binny is going to serve as the BCCI president. Since then the discussion is going on around Sourav.

According to Indian media, Sourav had to leave due to political reasons. There are rumors, the Indian political party BJP brought him on the board to bring him or someone from his family into politics. But Sourav’s decision not to enter politics has become a curse for him. The leaders of West Bengal’s ruling Trinamool Congress claimed that Sourav was removed from the post of board president because he did not join the BJP.

On the other hand, the current ruling party of India, BJP, is claiming the decision to remove Sourav as an ‘administrative decision’. The discussion and criticism around the matter is going on. But what does the Maharaja of Calcutta think?

Sourav  spoke to the media for the first time after being removed from the board. He speaks very fluently about the topics discussed there. Sourav said, “Just like you can’t play cricket all your life, you can’t be an administrator all your life. I’ve been both a cricketer and an administrator, so I’ve seen both sides of the coin.”

The former Indian captain also said, “We have successfully organized the IPL in difficult times like the Corona virus. The Indian women’s cricket team has won silver in the Commonwealth Games. The Indian men’s team has achieved incredible success on foreign soil.”

According to sources, Sourav was offered to take over as the IPL chairman after his removal from the BCCI post. But Sourav did not agree.

However, according to the information of the Indian media, this former captain can get the responsibility of the ICC chairman. ICC selection will be held on T20 World Cup final day. Now let’s see if the Prince of Calcutta comes to the top position of ICC after losing the responsibility of the Indian Cricket Board.
