Sam Curran did not sleep the night before the IPL auction

The mini auction of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was held in Kochi, India on Friday. There was a fight with several players. Curran has taken 25 wickets in 14 T20 matches this year. His economy rate there is 7.08. Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chennai Super Kings, Laxmau Super Giants and Punjab Kings battled it out at the auction table to get Curran into the team. In the end, he went to the house of Punjab. The price has fallen to 18 crore 50 lakh rupees.

But Curran was skeptical about getting the team even after being sold at the highest price. He said, “The auction was not shown live on television in England. In an interview in this regard, he said, “The night before the auction, I could not sleep a bit. The excitement worked all night. I was also nervous, whether I would get the team or not. I did not know what would happen in the auction. After the auction, I was surprised. I will be sold for such a high price in IPL. Never dreamed of it.”

Of course, Curran now faces a new challenge. It is not enough to sell at a higher price. He has to pay the money for cricket on the field.
