King Kohli's 71st century after 1020 days

The long wait of 2 years 9 months 2 days is over. Finally, the famous King Kohli is found in 22 yards of the field. His bat broke the dreams of Afghanistan. It was seen that after the century, that helmet open bat raised celebration. Virat Kohli became the first century holder in this year’s Asia Cup by scoring a century against Afghanistan.

At the same time, the pressure on him has decreased. His drought of not scoring a century for almost 3 years ended with that. On 23 November 2019, he scored a century in a day-night Test against Bangladesh in Kolkata. Then King Kohli forgot to score a century. When he scored another century against Afghanistan in Dubai, 1020 days have passed since his life.

Once he was called India’s run machine. He has 70 centuries in total. It took so long to get his 71st century? On this day, however, another unique precedent was set by the former captain of India. The stormy innings of 122 runs off 61 balls is the first century in his T20 career.

The critics had so many problems with the out-of-form Kohli. He also had to hear about being dropped from the team. King Kohli answered all the questions at the international cricket stadium in Dubai.

On this day, instead of Rohit, Rahul started to open the innings. He was sending message hitting four-sixes that he is back. Finally, he touched century in just 53 balls. That too in a royal manner, he completed the century hitting 6. In the end, he played an unbeaten innings of 122 runs off 61 balls with 12 fours and 6 sixes.

The whole stadium was supporting Kohli. After the century, King Kohli looked at the sky and gave a smile of satisfaction. He celebrated the much-desired century by kissing the ring on his hand and the chain on his neck. The audience in the gallery was also waiting for this moment.

Through this century, he became the owner of hundreds in all three types of cricket at the international level. The cricket world is now praising Kohli. Everyone is talking about the same thing; the king has returned to 22 yards of the field. The old discussion is back again, can King Kohli break Sachin’s record of 100 centuries?
