Bangladesh is going play without Shakib in the preparation match

He has become the Test captain of Bangladesh team a few days ago. After that Shakib Al Hasan went to USA for spending vacation with his family. From there he was to join the team directly on 10 June. However, the left-arm all-rounder will join the Test squad in Antigua on June 11 by extending his leave by one day. As a result, Bangladesh will have to play in the preparation match on June 10 without Shakib.

The Tigers have flown to the Caribbean islands to play the full series. There are two Tests, three ODIs and a T20. Duo is going to start their fight in the field is on June 16 with white-jersey cricket. Earlier, Bangladesh will take part in a three-day warm-up match.

According to the Bangladesh team, Shakib will leave the United States for the first Test venue on June 11, even though the warm-up match is slated to be start on the 10th.

This match is the only official preparation of Bangladesh before the Test series. Although the team members arrived in Antigua in a few steps, they did not get a chance to practice.
