Vitality Blast 2023 Details
For sponsorship reasons, the T20 Blast is now called the Vitality Blast. It is a competitive Twenty20 cricket tournament for English and Welsh first-class counties. The competition was started in 2003 as the first professional Twenty20 league in the globe by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). This is the premier Twenty20 tournament in England and Wales.
Due to commercial sponsorship, the competition has gone under many different titles over the years. From 2003 to 2009, it was called the Twenty20 Cup. From 2010 to 2013, it was called the Friends Provident t20 and Friends Life t20. From 2014 to 2017, it was called the Natwest t20 Blast. Since 2018, the competition has been supported by Vitality, an insurance provider known as the Vitality Blast.
This year the tournament will take place between 20 May and 15 July 2023. The domestic T20 league, managed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), will enter its sixth season. The Hampshire Hawks are the reigning champions after capturing their third crown the season before. The ECB released the tournament's schedule on November 30, 2022.
