The most successful team in the DPL, Abahani Limited clinched their 4th title in 2023, defeating Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in the final. Led by experienced all-rounder Mushfiqur Rahim, the team boasted a strong batting lineup featuring Mohammad Naim, who topped the run-scoring charts with 932 runs, and Anamul Haque. Their bowling attack was spearheaded by pacer Mustafizur Rahman and spinner Ariful Haque.

Agrani Bank Cricket Club: Returning to the league after a one-year absence, Agrani Bank finished 5th in the group stage and failed to qualify for the Super League. Their batting unit revolved around experienced campaigners like Nazmul Hossain Shanto and Mohammad Mithun, while their bowling attack relied on the spin duo of Tanvir Islam and Shohag Gazi.

Brothers Union: One of the oldest and most decorated teams in Bangladeshi cricket, Brothers Union had a disappointing season in 2023, finishing 8th in the group stage. The team lacked firepower in both batting and bowling, with only Naeem Islam and Ravi Bopara showing some consistency.

City Club: A relatively new team in the DPL, City Club surprised everyone by finishing 3rd in the group stage and reaching the Super League playoffs. Their success was built on a strong all-round performance from Afif Hossain, who was their leading run-scorer and wicket-taker.

Dhaka Leopards: Making their DPL debut in 2023, Dhaka Leopards had a mixed season, finishing 6th in the group stage. The team relied heavily on the experience of Shakib Al Hasan, who was their top scorer and wicket-taker but lacked support from other players.

Gazi Group Cricketers: Formerly known as Gazi Tank Cricketers, the team finished 7th in the group stage in 2023. They had a balanced squad with contributions from players like Irfan Sukkur, who was among the top run-scorers, and Mohammad Saifuddin, who was effective with the ball.

Their batting relied on experienced players like Shuvagata Hom and Mohammad Ashraful, while their bowling attack was led by pacer Ebadot Hossain.

Prime Bank Cricket Club: One of the most consistent teams in the DPL, Prime Bank finished 6th in the group stage in 2023. Their batting was led by experienced campaigner Nasir Jamshed, while their bowling attack relied on the spin duo of Asif Ali and Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
