New Zealand Women (NZ W) and South Africa Women (SA W) are all set to square off in a five-match T20I series. The first T20I is scheduled to be held at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, on Sunday, March 15.
The White Ferns recently played three T20Is and as many ODIs at home against Zimbabwe. They won all six matches with consummate ease. While they have a fantastic head-to-head record against South Africa in T20Is, expect the matches to be hard-fought.
South Africa’s last assignment was a white-ball series against Pakistan at home in February. The African side won both the T20I and ODI series by the same 2-1 margin. Laura Wolvaardt and Co. would want to carry that momentum into the series against New Zealand.
