After a terrific win against Punjab Kings in their last match in the IPL 2023, Lucknow Super Giants will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday, May 01, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Notably, in their last match, the LSG wreaked havoc with the bat, scoring 257 runs – the second-highest total in the history of the tournament. Marcus Stoinis, Kyle Mayers and Nicholas Pooran were sensational with the bat, and even though bowlers leaked a lot of runs, the management will not be much concerned.
When it comes to Bangalore, they lost their last match against Kolkata Knight Riders. Other than Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell, no other batter has managed to prove themselves with the bat, and that’s a massive concern for the side. With that ball, Mohammed Siraj has been phenomenal, while Wanindu Hasaranga has done reasonably well. Despite so, there’s a lot of room for improvement for RCB at the moment.

LSG vs RCB Probable Best Performers
Probable best batter: Virat Kohli
Legendary batter Virat Kohli is in terrific form at the moment. He has scored 333 runs in eight matches, and with that, he is second on the IPL Orange Cap list. Even in the last match, the stand-in skipper managed to score a half-century, and in Lucknow, where the ball will relatively keep low, Virat can once again play a brilliant innings.
Probable best bowler: Mohammed Siraj
The ace pacer is arguably one of the best bowlers in the ongoing season. In eight matches so far, Siraj has picked up 14 wickets, and with that, he is at the top of the IPL Purple Cap race. He has been ruthless with the new ball, and thus, it will be interesting to see how he does against LSG batters, who are on song at the moment.
