Captain Deepti Sharma (4 off 6) and Tahlia McGrath (1 off 2) fell cheaply, failing to anchor the innings. The lower middle order provided minor contributions, with Shweta Sehrawat adding 19 off 13 balls, while Uma Chetry remained unbeaten on 13 off 20 balls. Chinelle Henry and Sophie Ecclestone managed 7 and 6 runs respectively before being dismissed. Nat Sciver-Brunt was the standout bowler, finishing with impressive figures of 3/18 in 4 overs, while Shabnim Ismail (2/33) and Sanskriti Gupta (2/11) provided crucial breakthroughs.

Chasing 143 for victory, MI Women lost Yastika Bhatia early for a duck in the fourth over, caught by Kranti Goud off Deepti Sharma’s bowling. However, Hayley Matthews and Nat Sciver-Brunt steadied the innings with a commanding partnership. Matthews played a fluent innings of 59 off 50 balls, hitting seven boundaries and two sixes before falling to Sophie Ecclestone in the 17th over. Her innings laid a solid foundation for the chase.

Nat Sciver-Brunt was the star of the innings, smashing an unbeaten 75 off 44 balls at a remarkable strike rate of 170.45. Her innings included 13 boundaries, as she effortlessly dismantled the UP Warriorz bowling attack. Harmanpreet Kaur came in to finish the match and struck a boundary off her first ball, sealing the victory in style. Mumbai Indians reached 143/2 in 17 overs, cruising to an easy win.

For UP Warriorz, only Sophie Ecclestone (1/29) and Deepti Sharma (1/25) managed to pick up wickets, but their efforts were not enough to prevent the loss.
