The Champions Trophy 2025 final between India and New Zealand was attended by Yuzvendra Chahal from the stands. However, his attendance was not quite the real highlight. Rather, it was the woman with whom he was accompanied who stirred widespread buzz amongst the Indian cricket fraternity.

The broadcasters’ cameras panned towards Chahal during one of the overs while the first innings of the game were going on. It turned out that the woman was 28-year-old YouTuber RJ Mahvash. This comes amid rumours of his separation from choreographer Dhanashree Verma. The previous few months have been witness to a lot of reports emerging in the media regarding the same. However, nothing has been confirmed from either party as of now.

Check the post below:

As far as Chahal’s cricketing endeavours are concerned, he was acquired by Punjab Kings for IPL 2025 for a whopping INR 18 crore during the mega auction at Jeddah last year. Chahal last featured for India in August 2023. Since then, he has been out of contention concerning either of the white-ball setups. Neither was he considered for the Cricket World Cup in 2023 nor the T20 World Cup in 2024.

Rohit leads the charge in India’s pursuit of 252

Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma, has started the run-chase in quite some style. India brought about their team fifty in the eighth over itself. The bulk of the scoring was done by Rohit, who looks all set for a big one, as India look to secure their third Champions Trophy title.

Earlier in the day, the Men in Blue restricted New Zealand to a par score of 251/7 in their 50 overs. Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav secured two wickets apiece, with Ravindra Jadeja ending up conceding only 30 runs in his 10-over spell. For the Kiwis, Daryl Mitchell and Michael Bracewell were the top-scorers, registering 63 (101) and 53* (40), respectively.
