Royal Challengers Bengaluru have had a forgettable season in the ongoing IPL (Indian Premier League) 2024. Having played eight games in the tournament so far, RCB has only managed to win one and lost the remaining seven. They currently sit in last place in the standings with two points.

With the playoffs almost out of reach, RCB will have to pull off something miraculous to make it to the knockout stages of the competition, and all-rounder Will Jacks did not rule out any miracle.

The 25-year-old came forward to opine that one never knows what will happen in the IPL and that if they manage to win a few games, their fortune could turn around.

“We made a conscious effort to take wickets with the new ball. Hopefully, that will pay off. You never know if we win a few matches, and from there, you never know what can happen,” Jacks was quoted as saying by India Today.

SRH is high on confidence: Jacks

Furthermore, Will Jacks talked about RCB’s upcoming fixture against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both sides will lock horns with each other in the 41st game of the tournament in Hyderabad on Thursday, April 25. Ahead of the clash, Jacks opined that SRH are full of confidence, and if RCB can limit them to a par total, RCB can win.

“SRH is high on confidence. They scored three scores over 260. All the batters seem to be in form, and now they are playing at home. It is challenging to come here. If we restrict them to a par or below par score, we can win,” Jacks said.

“Travis Head and Abhishek (Sharma) will go hard at bowlers from ball one. Whatever plans they have, we leave them to the bowlers. Both of them are pretty much batting the whole powerplay. So hopefully, if we get them and can bring No.3 early, we can restrict them for a low total,” Jacks added.
