WPL 2024: DEL-W vs GUJ-W, Match 10 – Latest WPL 2024 Points Table, Highest Run Scorers, and Wicket-Takers

Game 10 of the ongoing WPL (Women’s Premier League) 2024 featured a clash between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Giants at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Sunday, March 3.

Delhi Capitals batted first, and after Meg Lanning’s brilliant 55-run knock. contributions by Alice Capsey and Annabel Sutherland, Delhi posted a total of 163 runs in the first innings. Meghna Singh was the highest wicket-taker for Gujarat, with four wickets to her name. 

Aiming to chase down the target, Gujarat’s batting attack failed to perform at the peak of their abilities. Ashleigh Gardner was the only batter who looked to be in form, scoring 40 runs in 31 deliveries, but the remaining batters failed to capitalise. Giants only managed to score 138 runs and lost the game by 25 runs.

Grace Harris is still leading the charts of the WPL 2024 being the highest run-getter with 153 runs to her name. However, Meg Lanning and Alice Capsey made for some significant movement in the player standings.
