England, however, made light work of the chase thanks to yet another batting masterclass from Danni Wyatt-Hodge. The hosts raced to 57/1 in the powerplay and never allowed New Zealand a way back into the game. Dunkley played the perfect supporting role, rotating the strike and finding boundaries at regular intervals, while Wyatt-Hodge continued her sensational tournament with another match-winning innings. England eventually chased down the target in just 17.2 overs, sealing a comfortable nine-wicket win with 16 balls to spare.

The victory not only extended England’s unbeaten streak in the tournament but also confirmed West Indies Women as the second team from Group B to qualify for the semi-finals. For New Zealand, the defeat marked a disappointing end to their campaign and an emotional farewell for legendary trio Suzie Bates, Sophie Devine, and Lea Tahuhu, who played their final matches in White Ferns colours..

Danni Wyatt-Hodge continued her stellar form with the bat in this encounter. Chasing a tricky target, she anchored the innings well with an unbeaten knock of 89 from just 53 balls. She is currently the highest run getter of the tournament, scoring 282 runs with a strike rate of 153.26.
