Veteran Indian batter Rohit Sharma is widely revered as one of the greatest batters of the current generation. Leading the Indian team by example, Rohit’s heroics have been well known across the globe, and every accolade that the star batter has earned has been well deserved.

Kicking off his career as a middle-order batter, Rohit’s career took an upward trajectory from the 2013 Champions Trophy when he was promoted to open the innings for India alongside Shikhar Dhawan.

Ever since then, Rohit has been amassing runs at a rapid rate for India. As the star batter turns 37 years old on April 30, 2024, let us have a look at the various individual records that the ‘Hitman’ holds.

Rohit Sharma holds the record for the most centuries in a single series with five tons, he is also the leading batter for most sixes in Test, ODI, and T20I combined. The veteran holds the record for the joint-most centuries in T20I cricket with five and is the second-fastest cricketer to reach 10,000 ODI runs behind Virat Kohli.

Furthermore, Rohit Sharma produced the highest knock in ODI cricket almost ten years ago against Sri Lanka. He smashed 264 runs in 173 balls and has led Mumbai Indians to five IPL titles, which is the joint-highest in the tournament’s history.
