Virat Kohli has started his preparations for the upcoming 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) both on and off the field. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) superstar will be returning as a defending IPL champion after he lifted his first honour with the popular franchise last season, playing under the captaincy of Rajat Patidar.
Ahead of the start of the showpiece T20 tournament, Kohli was seen getting a stylish new haircut as part of his off-field preparations. The right-handed batter received the services from a hairstylist by the name of Jordan Tabakman, who is the owner of the salon The Barber Club.
The stylist shared a reel on his Instagram showing Kohli guiding him on how exactly he wants his hair to look. At the time of writing, the reel has accumulated more than 776,000 views and 1.61 million likes on the social media platform.

Tabakman is a very reputable hairstylist amongst the Indian cricket stars, with Kohli visiting his salon quite regularly in the past. He has also shared photos and videos of attacking opening batter Abhishek Sharma and white-ball captain Shubman Gill visiting him for his hair services, as well.
Coming back to Kohli, the 37-year-old has already commenced his pre-tournament training in the nets. Last week, the 37-year-old shared a video on his social media platforms of him knocking the ball around in the nets and also playing some exquisite shots with some brand-new cricketing gear.
Kohli comes into the 2026 IPL on the back of some excellent form for India in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). In his last professional outing, the star batter hit 124 against New Zealand in Indore. India, however, ended up on the losing side despite Kohli’s 54th century in the format.
The former India captain once again had a superb IPL campaign last time around. He scored 657 runs for RCB at an average of 54.75, scoring eight half-centuries along the way and striking the bat at almost 145.
