Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is winning hearts on and off the field during the 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 15-year-old has been in surreal form with the bat, captivating the cricket fraternity with his exemplary talent. Meanwhile, he is also giving an account of his kind demeanour off the field.

In a video shared by the Rajasthan Royals on social media, Sooryavanshi, who recently slammed a 35-ball century against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, was welcomed at the team hotel with a garland. However, he presented it to a young kid waiting with other fans to catch a glimpse of the Riyan Parag-led side.

How have Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Rajasthan Royals performed in IPL 2026?

Sooryavanshi recently held the Orange Cap for a brief while. He is tied second on the list of leading run-getters in the tournament with KL Rahul. The Bihar batter has amassed 357 runs from eight innings at an average of 44.62 and a strike rate of 234.87. He has already belted 31 fours and 32 sixes in the campaign. No batter has hit more sixes than him in the ongoing season.

Meanwhile, the Royals find themselves at No. 4 on the points table. They have five wins and three defeats from eight matches. After winning their first four games in the season, the inaugural champions have slumped to three defeats in their last four matches.

Parag and Co. will return to action on Tuesday, as they face the undefeated Punjab Kings at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. The Royals will look to bounce back strongly after they lost their most recent fixture, which was against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, April 25. The Orange Army chased down a 229-run target with nine balls to spare.
