[Watch] T20 World Cup 2026: Suryakumar Yadav recreates heated moment with Kuldeep Yadav from IND vs PAK clash, leaves fans in stitches

Suryakumar Yadav hilariously recreated a scene from the India versus Pakistan clash in the T20 World Cup 2026, where it seemed that the talismanic captain had gotten agitated by Kuldeep Yadav’s reaction. The moment happened when the Indian players were shaking hands with each other after defeating Pakistan comprehensively by 61 runs at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, February 15.

Hardik Pandya also had a heated interaction with Kuldeep around the same time. It seemed as if both Hardik and Suryakumar were not too pleased with Kuldeep’s fielding effort, as he had dropped a catch at long-on of Shaheen Shah Afridi, and the ball went over the boundary for a maximum. Rinku Singh tried to diffuse the tension, while Tilak Varma looked worried.

While shaking hands with Suryakumar, Kuldeep didn’t look him in the eye. As he walked past Suryakumar, the latter looked back at him, sporting an angry expression on his face.

While Indian fans were delighted with the sensational performance from the defending champions, they were slightly concerned about the unpleasant moment between three of their star players.

However, Suryakumar’s latest video shared on his social media handles has left fans in stitches. The Mumbai batter recreated the scene with Kuldeep at the team hotel. The 35-year-old captioned the video with, “Gussa chodh do bhai,” which means, let go of your anger, brother.

With India’s resounding win on Sunday, they booked their place in the Super-Eight stage of the T20 World Cup 2026. They find themselves at the top of Group A, with three wins in as many matches. Their final match in the group stage is against the Netherlands, and it will be played at the colossal Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, February 18. The Super-Eight matches will commence on Saturday.
