[WATCH] Rohit Sharma grinds it out at Shivaji Park with Abhishek Nayar ahead of Australia ODIs

Ace Indian batter Rohit Sharma was recently spotted practicing at the renowned Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Rohit was recently picked for India’s 15-member ODI squad for the upcoming white-ball series against Australia.

India’s former batting coach and ex-cricketer Abhishek Nayar was also in attendance. Rohit was snapped facing a variety of MCA-affiliated bowlers at the iconic venue as he went about his business, playing some blazing shots. For the unversed, Rohit has previously spent a lot of time with Nayar while working on his fitness and batting during the off-season. 

After a few hours of some rigorous practice which also involved match simulation, Rohit left the plot and was heading towards his car. By that time, a sizable crowd had gathered and were looking quite eager to capture photos and videos of the Indian legend, who was surrounded by security personnel.

Rohit has already retired from T20Is and Test cricket, leaving ODI cricket as the only format he is active in. India‘s ODI captaincy was recently transferred from him to Shubman Gill. Rohit is set to be in action Down Under along with Virat Kohli.
