The Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur was filled with over 10,000 supporters who flocked to the venue to watch Rohit Sharma represent Mumbai against Sikkim in the 2025-26 Vijay Hazare Trophy. The former India skipper returned to the VHT after a seven-year hiatus.
The Rajasthan Cricket Association had announced free entry to the venue. Expected, the venue was jam-packed, with spectators cheering Rohit with chants of ‘Mumbai cha raja, Rohit Sharma (Mumbai’s king, Rohit Sharma)’ as Rohit was on the field during Sikkim’s innings after the Lee Yong Lepcha-led unit won the toss and opted to bat.
