The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) spinner Suyash Sharma dismantled the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2025 at Mullanpur on May 29. The winner of the ongoing game will be earn a direct ticket to the final.

Suyash came to bowl the eighth over and marked his presence on just the second ball of the over. The spinner bowled a wrong’un to Shashank Singh. The batter tried to slog it across the line, but missed it completely and the ball crashed onto the leg-stump.

On the fifth ball of the same over, Suyash delivered a fine delivery to Musheer Khan, with a slide on with the angle. The batter completely missed the shot and the ball hit his pads. Musheer challenged the decision only for ball-tracking to come up with three reds, making it a double-wicket over.

Suyash then returned to bowl the 11th over and struck on the third ball to dismiss Australia all-rounder Marcus Stoinis. The right-handed batter played a sweep but made a mess of it to see his leg stump rattled.

In the end, RCB completely dominated PBKS, bowling them out for just 101 in 14.1 overs. Suyash stood out with impressive figures of 3 for 17, while Josh Hazlewood also played his part with a solid spell of 3 for 21.

RCB need to chase 102 runs in the 20 overs and will aim to seal a spot in the IPL 2025 finals, which will be played on June 3 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
