India’s fighting draw against England in the fourth Test at Old Trafford not only kept the series alive for the visitors but also witnessed left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh breaking into a bhangra dance while heading up the dressing room stairs.

India’s performance in the fourth Test was impressive. After losing two wickets without a score in their second innings and trailing by over 300 runs, the visitors put up a remarkable fightback. The draw came into being thanks to centuries from Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja, and Washington Sundar. India finished at 425/4 to deny England a win, keeping the series alive at 2-1 with one game left.

Meanwhile, the incident took place after Arsheep, who hasn’t featured in the playing XI yet, performed a bhangra celebration while heading to the dressing room. The video, which shows the 25-year-old dancing his way up the stairs, has gone viral.

Arshdeep Singh likely to make debut in fifth Test

Notably, the left-arm pacer who was expected to make his potential debut in the Manchester Test was ruled out after sustaining an impact injury to his left thumb while bowling in the nets at a training session in Beckenham.

Meanwhile, Arshdeep could soon make it to XI. With Jasprit Bumrah reportedly in line to be rested after an immense workload and concerns on Mohammed Siraj’s fatigue, the Indian management might hand the tall left-armer his Test debut at The Oval. If recovered on time from a hand injury, he’s considered a potential replacement for Bumrah.

Furthermore, ace spinner Kuldeep Yadav too could make his way into the XI and replace Shardul Thakur for the final Test. Notably, the Indian bowling coach Morne Morkel had earlier mentioned that a player like Kuldeep is important in the XI. However, for him to get a spot, the top 6 batters need to be more convincing and trustworthy with their batting.
