Ruyel Miah had the last laugh against Sahibzada Farhan in Match 26 of the 2025-26 Bangladesh Premier League between Rajshahi Warriors and Sylhet Titans.
Sahibzada started off the fourth over of the innings with a maximum off Ruyel’s bowling. Drama unfolded on the next delivery after the top-order batter played a dot delivery and immediately followed it up with the ‘you can’t see me’ gesture. The 25-year-old Bangladeshi came back superbly on the very next ball to dismiss the batter.
The delivery was angled across the batter, who could only outside-edge it to the short third man fielder for a fairly straightforward catch to Salman Irshad. A pumped up Ruyel celebrated by emulating Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s trademark sitting-on-the-grounf celebration. Sahibzada was dismissed for a 12-ball 14.

Speaking of the match, the Warriors were successful in defending 147. Ripon Mondol was adjudged as the Player of the Match for registering a four-wicket haul (4/34 in 4 overs) and also taking a couple of catches during the second innings. All four of the bowlers employed by Najmul Hossain Shanto-led unit bowled 10-plus dot deliveries in their respective four overs.
The Warriors rose to the top of the points table with the win. It was their seventh triumph in nine games. Shanto and Co. will play their final league phase fixture against Chattogram Royals on January 17. On the other hand, this was the Titans’ 10th and final league game this season. They ended up with 10 points with five games won and as many lost. Despite winning two fewer matches than the Warriors, the Titans ended up with a slightly better net run rate.
