After a long seven-month break from international cricket, Kohli is all set to return for India. Having last played during the Champions Trophy earlier this year, the former India captain looked excited as he rejoined the national setup.

Kohli, who has a brilliant record of 1327 runs in 29 ODIs in Australia at an average of over 51, will be eager to extend that tally and help India script a series win Down Under. Furthermore, Australian opener Travis Head spoke about Kohli and Rohit Sharma‘s return to international cricket after a gap of seven months.

“They have been awesome for India, I guess Axar can speak more highly about them than I. But [they are] two quality players, two of the great white-ball players. Virat is probably the greatest white-ball player. Rohit is probably not far behind,” Head told the media.
